This first logo is the logo I created for my production company that will create my music video. When looking into how to name a company I found that it was better to keep the name basic, with many companies being named with the first name in the title. The name Hannah productions simply implies what the company offers, I also used my name to keep it simple in order to not take the attention away from my other logo. I originally hand drew the logo myself on paper to whilst experimenting designs of how to put the company name to connect to a camera to represent the filming aspect of the company. I then went on to make the logo with photoshop, scanning in the drawing I made and used the pen tool to trace over the drawing and making it more cartoon like.
I decided to have a camera lens with a yellow, nearly transparent triangle coming out of it as if it was a light of the camera filming. Like the name of the company I wanted to not create my own font but instead use a font from photoshop. I thought that by making my logo artistic it would show a representation of the to be unique
Logo designs for my artist:
The logos are my designs for the artist name ‘Maya Hart’. The first two images are my drawings. The first idea I had was to make a microphone in the name. I wanted to do this by using cursive 3D letters. This means I could make the Y swirl into a microphone lead with the microphone on the end. The next design was a simple two hearts and curved simple writing. This logo will be easier to place on websites and merch etc, as it is all on one line. However, I felt this design was too simple so I decided to not edit it on photoshop. I did go on to edit the first design and create a brand new logo. I used my own personalised fonts by using the pen tool, this makes the writing unique as it is not completely straight and is abstract. For the first of my photoshop edits (3rd picture) I wanted the colours to be bright and attention-seeking. I also wanted the main colour to be pink to fit the rest of the video and image of the artist- linking to the intertextuality of legally blonde and mean girls. The colour Pink is used in colour therapy and colour healing art for love, self love/acceptance, compassion and nurturing. Pink radiates the energy of unconditional love is a very powerful force for emotional healing and support. I then picked the colour for the shadow of the writing. I wanted the colour to be bright, compatible and non- overpowering. When using the colour therapy, I found that the colour yellow is used to define, warmth, radiant energy, self-control of body and personal power.
